Meath Partnership is launching Under My Wing – Supporting Entrepreneurs and Enterprise. This initiative supports the progression of individuals from non-business related disciplines to careers as entrepreneurs; by developing a bespoke curriculum and a full suite of learning resources, which will be officially launched at this conference.
The conference represents an exciting opportunity for business owners and new business start-ups to engage with a range of expert contributors bringing the practical realities of entrepreneurship to life through key insights, experiences and case studies.
The conference will be opened with an address by Minister Damien English, T.D., Minister of State with Special Responsibility for Skills, Research and Innovation. The conference will also be addressed by renowned keynote speakers such as Professor Damien McLoughlin, Associate Dean at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Ms. Orlaith Carmody of MediaTraining.ie and Mr Stephen Kirwan of ActionCOACH to name but a few. The conference will also host an interactive panel discussion with successful Meath-based entrepreneurs, many of whom have started a business during the recession, and are willing to share their experience and offer advice to those in attendance.
Meath Partnership would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend this conference, which will be hosted in the Great Hall in the Trim Castle Hotel, Trim Co. Meath, on Wednesday, 10th September, 2014, from 9.00am until 4.30pm.
Each conference participant will receive access to all learning resources, and will have an opportunity to network with experts from across Europe in the field of entrepreneurship. Local tutors, entrepreneurs and policy-makers who took part in this project will also be in attendance at this conference, and will take part in the networking lunch, so come along and bring your questions! The conference is free to attend and will include a networking lunch, however booking is essential as numbers are limited.
